Before you start

If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, start from the next step. If you would like to change the SIM pin code, jump to step 16. Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select Settings

Select Display and Lock screen

Select Select screen lock

Select Pattern

Select your preferred option and select NEXT

Draw an unlock pattern and select NEXT

Draw the unlock pattern again and select CONFIRM

Enter a Backup PIN and select NEXT

Confirm your backup PIN and select OK

Select your preferred option and select OK

Select CANCEL

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock

To change the PIN for the SIM card, return to the Settings menu and select General

Scroll to and select Fingerprints & security

Select Set up SIM card lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your Current SIM PIN and select OK

Scroll to and select Fingerprints & security

Select Set up SIM card lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your Current SIM PIN and select OK

Enter your New SIM PIN and select OK

Confirm your new SIM PIN and select OK

Your SIM PIN has been changed
