Before you start

If you would like to change the SIM pin code, start from the next step. If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, jump to step 12. Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select Settings

Scroll to and select Security and privacy

Scroll to and select More security and privacy

Scroll to and select SIM lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your Current PIN for the SIM card and select OK

Enter your New PIN for the SIM card and select OK

New PIN for the SIM card

Confirm your new PIN for the SIM card and select OK

Confirm new SIM PIN

Your SIM PIN has been changed

To activate your screen lock, return to the Security and privacy menu and select Device unlock

Select Screen lock

Select Pattern

Select Continue

Draw an unlock pattern

Draw the unlock pattern again
