Extend battery life

Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again.

To close all running apps, select the Recent apps button

Select the Delete icon to close all running apps

Select Settings

Select Wi-Fi

Turn off Turn on Wi-Fi

Deactivating Wi-Fi will help to save battery.

Select the Back button

Select Bluetooth

Turn off Bluetooth

Deactivating Bluetooth will help to save battery.

Scroll to and select Additional Settings

Scroll to and select Safety & privacy

Select Location

Turn off Location Service

Deactivating the GPS will help to save battery. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.

Turn on Power Saving

Enabling Power Saving will make the phone slightly more slow and the screen less bright. Note: This action will disable your Internet connection and turn off Internet based services when the screen is off.
