""Wi-Fi Assist"" keeps you connected to the Internet with mobile data when you have a poor Wi-Fi connection, which can lead to increased use of mobile data. ""Wi-Fi Assist"" is On by default and this guide will show you how to turn it off and save data.

Select ""Settings""

Select ""Mobile Data""

Scroll down and set ""Wi-Fi Assist"" to ""Off""

Mobile data will no longer be used when your Wi-Fi connection is poor.
