Before you start

If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, start from the next step. If you would like to change the ""SIM pin"" code, jump to step ""13"". Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select ""Apps""

Select ""Settings""

Scroll to and select ""Security""

Select ""Screen lock""

Select ""Pattern""

Draw an unlock pattern and select ""Continue""

Draw the unlock pattern again and select ""Confirm""

Select ""OK""

Select a security question and select ""Continue""

Enter the answer and select ""Confirm""

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock

To change the PIN for the SIM card, return to the ""Security"" menu and select ""Set up SIM/RUIM card lock""

Select ""Change SIM PIN""

Enter your ""Old SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Enter your ""New SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Confirm your new ""SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Your SIM PIN has been changed.
