Extend battery life - Microsoft Lumia 435

Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again.

Swipe left

Scroll to and select Settings

Scroll to and select battery saver

Turn on Battery Saver

Note: This action will disable your Internet connection and turn off Internet based services when the screen is off.

Select When battery is less than 20%

Return to the Settings menu and select location

Turn off Location services

Note: Your GPS capabilities will be disabled. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.
