Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again.

Slide down the top menu

Select Shortcuts

Turn off Bluetooth and GPS

Deactivating Bluetooth and GPS will help to save battery. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.

Turn on Auto

Reducing the brightness will reduce battery consumption.

Select Settings

Select All and scroll to and select Power saving

Select Smart

Enabling Smart power saving mode will make the phone slightly more slow and the screen less bright.

If you would like to enable Ultra power saving, select Ultra power saving

Note: This action will disable your Internet connection and turn off Internet based services when the screen is off.

Return to the Home screen and select the Recent apps button
