Before you start

If you would like to change the SIM pin code, start from the next step. If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, jump to step ""10"". Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Swipe left

Scroll to and select ""Settings""

Select ""Network & wireless""

Select ""Mobile & SIM""

Scroll to and select ""SIM settings""

Scroll to and select ""Change SIM PIN""

Enter your ""SIM PIN"" and ""New SIM PIN"". Confirm ""New SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Your ""SIM PIN"" has been changed

To activate your screen lock, go to the ""Settings"" menu and select ""Personalisation""

Select ""Lock screen""

Scroll to and select ""Sign-in options""

Select ""Add""

Enter your Microsoft account password and select ""save""

Enter your ""New PIN"" twice and select ""OK""

Select ""Require sign-in""

Select ""Every Time""

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock.
