Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again.

Press and hold the Home button

This action will open the list of recently-used applications.

Select the Delete icon to close all running apps

Slide down the top menu

Select ""Automatic brightness""

Reducing the brightness will reduce battery consumption.

Slide down the top menu

Turn off ""GPS""

Note: This action will disable your GPS capabilities. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.

Turn on ""Power saving""

Enabling ""Power saving"" mode will make the phone slightly more slow and the screen less bright.

Select the ""Settings"" button

Scroll to and select ""Battery and storage""

Select ""Battery manager""

Select ""Power saving settings""

Turn on the ""Power saving modes""

Note: This action will disable your Internet connection and turn off Internet based services when the screen is off.

To enable ""Super Power saving"", return to the ""Battery manager"" menu

Turn ""Super Power saving"" on

Select ""Enable""

Note: In ""Super Power-saving"" mode, only calls, messages and access to contacts will be available.

To turn off ""Super Power saving"", select ""Exit super power-saving mode""

Select ""OK""
