Before you start

If you would like to change the SIM pin code, start from the next step. If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, jump to step ""11"". Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select ""Settings""

Scroll to and select ""Security and privacy""

Scroll to and select ""More security & privacy""

Scroll to and select ""SIM card lock""

Select ""Change SIM PIN""

Enter your ""Current PIN for the SIM card"" and select ""OK""

Enter your ""New PIN for the SIM card"" and select ""OK""

Confirm your new ""PIN for the SIM card"" and select ""OK""

Your ""SIM PIN"" has been changed

To activate your screen lock, return to the ""Security & privacy"" menu and select ""Device unlock""

Select ""Screen lock""

Select ""Pattern""

Select ""Continue""

Draw an unlock pattern

Draw the unlock pattern again

Select your preferred option

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock
