Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again. NOTICE: SCREEN IMAGES MAY DIFFER FROM YOUR ACTUAL DEVICE.

Select ""Apps""

Scroll to and select ""Settings""

Turn off ""Wi-Fi""

Deactivating Wi-Fi will help to save battery. Remember to activate again when you need Wi-Fi services.

Scroll to and select ""Display""

Select ""Brightness""

Select ""AUTO / Automatic brightness"" and select ""OK""

Reducing the brightness will reduce battery consumption.

Return to the ""Settings"" menu and scroll to and select ""Location access""

Turn off ""GPS / GPS satellites / Location""

Deactivating the GPS will help to save battery. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.

To close all running apps, select the ""Recent apps"" button

If you cannot find the ""Recent apps"" button, press and hold the Menu button or the Home button
