Before you start

If you would like to change the SIM pin code, start from the next step. If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, jump to step ""13"". Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide. NOTICE: SCREEN IMAGES MAY DIFFER FROM YOUR ACTUAL DEVICE.

Select ""Apps""

Select ""Settings""

If you see this screen, select ""SYSTEM""

If you cannot find ""SYSTEM"", continue to the next step.

If you see this screen, select ""MORE""

If you cannot find ""MORE"", continue to the next step.

Scroll to and select ""Security"" or ""Lock screen and security""

Scroll to and select ""Other security settings""

If you cannot find ""Other security settings"", continue to the next step.

Scroll to and select ""Set up SIM card lock""

Select ""Change SIM PIN / Change SIM card PIN""

Enter your ""Old SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Enter your ""New SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Confirm your new ""SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Your SIM PIN has been changed.

To activate your screen lock, go to the ""Settings"" menu and select ""DEVICE / MY DEVICE""

If you cannot find ""DEVICE"", continue to the next step.

Select ""Lock screen""

If you cannot find ""Lock screen"", continue to the next step.

Select ""Screen lock / Screen lock type""

Select ""Pattern""

Draw an unlock pattern and select ""CONTINUE""

Draw the unlock pattern again and select ""CONFIRM""

Enter a ""Backup PIN"" and select ""CONTINUE""

Confirm your ""backup PIN"" and select ""OK""

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock.
