Before you start

If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, start from the next step. If you would like to change the SIM pin code, jump to step 12. Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select Apps

Scroll to and select Settings

Scroll to and select Lock screen

Select Screen lock

Select Pattern

Select Next

Draw an unlock pattern and select Continue

Draw the unlock pattern again and select Confirm

Make sure you set the same pattern

Enter a Backup PIN and select Continue

Confirm your Backup PIN and select OK

To change the PIN for the SIM card, go to the Settings menu and select Security

Select Set up SIM card lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your Old SIM PIN and select OK

Enter your New SIM PIN and select OK

Confirm your new SIM PIN and select OK

Your SIM PIN has been changed.
