Before you start

If you would like to set up a lock screen on your tablet, start from the next step. If you would like to change the SIM pin code, jump to step 10. Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select Settings

Select Lock screen and Screen lock

Select Pattern

Draw an unlock pattern and select Continue

Select Confirm

Confirm your pattern and select Continue

Enter a backup PIN and select Continue

Confirm your backup PIN and select OK

Your tablet is now secure with a screen lock.

To change the PIN for the SIM card, return to the Settings menu. Select Security and Set up SIM card lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your old SIM PIN and select OK
