Before you start

If you would like to set up a lock screen on your tablet, start from the next step. If you would like to change the SIM pin code, jump to step 13. Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select Apps

Scroll to and select Settings

Select Device

Select Lock screen

Select Screen lock

Select Pattern

Draw an unlock pattern and select Continue

Draw the unlock pattern again and select Confirm

Enter a Backup PIN and select Continue

Confirm your Backup PIN and select OK

Your tablet is now secure with a screen lock

To change the PIN for the SIM card, go to the main menu and select General

Scroll to and select Security

Select Set up SIM card lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your Old SIM PIN and select OK
