Before you start

If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, start from the next step. If you would like to change the SIM pin code, jump to step 14. Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select Next

Draw an unlock pattern and select Continue

Draw the unlock pattern again and select Confirm

Select OK

Select a security question and select Continue

Enter the answer and select Confirm

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock

To change the PIN for the SIM card, return to the Security menu and select Set up SIM/RUIM card lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your old SIM PIN and select OK

Confirm your new SIM PIN and select OK

Your SIM PIN has been changed.
