Before you start

If you would like to change the SIM pin code, start from the next step. If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, jump to step ""13"". Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Swipe left

Select ""Settings""

Scroll to and select ""Fingerprints, face data, and screen lock""

Select ""Privacy""

Scroll to and select ""More security settings""

Select Public

Select ""Change SIM PIN""

Enter your ""Old SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Enter your ""New SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Confirm your new ""SIM PIN"" and select ""OK""

Your ""SIM PIN"" has been changed

To activate your screen lock, return to the ""Fingerprints, face data, and screen lock"" menu and select ""Screen lock""

Select ""Pattern""

Select ""Got it""

Draw an unlock pattern

Draw the unlock pattern again

Select ""Confirm""

Select your preferred option

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock
