Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again. NOTICE: SCREEN IMAGES MAY DIFFER FROM YOUR ACTUAL DEVICE.

Turn off ""Wi-Fi"" and ""Bluetooth""

Deactivating ""Wi-Fi"" and ""Bluetooth"" will help to save battery.

Turn off ""LBS / Location""

Deactivating the GPS will help to save battery. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.

Check the ""AUTO"" checkbox

Reducing the brightness will reduce battery consumption.

Select ""Settings""

Select ""Power manager""

If you cannot see this screen, continue to the next step.

Turn on ""Auto adjust CPU""

If you cannot see this screen, continue to the next step.

Turn on ""Long standby mode""

Enabling ""Long standby mode"" will make the phone slightly more slow and the screen less bright. If you cannot see this screen, continue to the next step.

Return to the Home screen. Press and hold the Back button / Press and hold the Menu button

This action will open the list of recently-used applications.

Select the ""X"" icon to close all running apps
